Israel | 2023 – Summary

33 leaders, scholars, and activities from 15 countries gathered alongside the Kinneret to explore three important values in  Jewish life today: Peoplehood, Responsibility, and Hope. With considerable input and support from our outstanding international faculty,, the Fellows were able to address the fundamental transformations taking place within Jewish life personally, communally, and nationally. Through the multi-faceted program that included presentations, panels, art, music, film and texts, the Fellows were challenged to formulate Jewish responses to contemporary challenges, and explore what  binds Jews as a people today. 

France | 2022 – Summary

32 young Jewish leaders from 18 communities across the Jewish world gathered in Klingenthal, France to explore Continuity, Community & Conscience: Framing the Global Jewish Future. Fellows and Faculty addressed the inherent tensions that often exist between Jewish continuity, the communal mechanics we use to achieve this goal, and contemporary values and mores.

FELLOWSHIP ARCHIVENGF 1 - CARMEL COLLEGE, U.K. | AUGUST 16 - 31, 1987 The first Nahum Goldmann Fellowship (NGF) was designed as a two-week summer institute for young European Jews between the ages of 25-45. PROGRAM The theme for this inaugural NGF was Let My People Know and gathered 32 Fellows from 13 countries for
