NGF Network

About the NGF Network

For over 30 years, the International and Regional Nahum Goldmann Fellowships have successfully fostered a sense of Klal Yisrael, global Jewish social capital and connectedness, across geographic, religious, ideological, and political divisions in the Jewish world.

The NGF Network is a community of past participants of Nahum Goldmann Fellowships that bridges individual cohort years and locations, and creates intentional relationships grounded in the shared experiences of the NGF. Following participation in an International or Regional program, Fellows become members of the NGF Network and have access to our community of 1100+ members in over 70 countries around the world.

Through continued participation in NGF Network opportunities, members expand and deepen their connections to one another, broaden their Jewish knowledge and learning; and grow in their individual leadership capacity.

Programs & Opportunities

Faculty Led Online Learning

Members of the NGF Network have regular opportunities to join in faculty-led online learning including lectures, workshops, text study sessions, and exploration of current events all through a deliberate Jewish lens. In addition to learning more, these online sessions are a great opportunity to meet and connect with other members across the Network. Past sessions are available to watch in the course archive.

Leadership Seminar

The NGF Network Leadership Seminar is a new leadership development  initiative for network members. It equips current and emerging Jewish leaders from around the globe with the wisdom of leadership and its lessons, as articulated from within our textual and ethical traditions. Blending Jewish values and ethics with models of leadership theory and experiential learning, the Leadership Seminar is a 12-month hybrid learning experience, designed to develop the next generation of ethical, engaged, and empowered Jewish leaders.

Peer-led Learning & Engagement

A central value of the NGF is a faith in and a commitment to the knowledge, passion, and experience of our alumni. We offer members of the NGF Network the opportunity to lead presentations for their peers through frequent peer-led presentations, the NGF Rosh Chodesh Group, the NGF Deep Meaningful Conversations (DMCs) and periodic Open Space conversations.
