MARYLAND, USA | MARCH 10 - 12, 2019
Five years had passed since the publication of the Pew Report on American Judaism in 2013 and so much had happened politically and sociologically since then. The 33 Fellows who gathered at the Pearlstone Retreat Center wanted to talk about realities in the United States including rising nationalism and antisemitism. The Fellows reflected a wide spread of American geography and ideology and were exposed to a diverse faculty encompassing the vast spectrum of American Jewish life.
The intense program included a mix of faculty presentations, panel discussions, Fellow-led group discussions, as well as elective workshops. Fellows were also able to share their thoughts, skills and passions through Fellow-led Electives.
To hear from the Fellows themselves, watch the short video clip below.
