Lessons in Leadership

NGF Network Leadership Seminar Cohort members are responsible for completing a ‘Lesson in Leadership’ that uses their experience in the NGF Leadership Seminar to develop and execute a project, program, or lesson to enrich their local community or organization.

Being sensitive to timing and being willing to shed old paradigms that no longer work

Using a collective leadership model to create opportunities for engaging different viewpoints

How new ideas and strong narratives can form the basis of community building for the future

Making 'joy' a component of Jewish education and connection

Using the 'Moses Model' to explore the role of effective communications in leadership

Changing the structural power paradigms of liberal synaogues

Programs created to engage Jewish youth in Jewish life and Jewish community

Our responsibility to actively work for the real eqaulity of Jewish women within Jewish life and community

How we can be inspired by Jewish values to step up as Jewish leades in our communities
