Thirty-eight Fellows from Canada and the United States gathered in Ottawa for the first-ever Regional Nahum Goldmann Fellowship held in North America. Participants represented cities across the continent, including Chicago, Montreal, New York, Ottawa, San Diego, Toronto and Washington, reflecting a broad geographic reach.

The Regional NGF brought together a diverse group of lay leaders and professionals from both the United States and Canada, representing a variety of educational, religious, politicaL, and communal perspectives. Notably, there was strong representation from smaller provinces and cities in Canada, ensuring a wide range of voices.
The Fellowship included a mix of NGF alumni from international programs and new participants, drawn from emerging young Jewish leadership across North America. Discussions centered on the unique challenges faced by Jewish communities in the open and democratic societies of the United States and Canada.
